Satvic Breakfast Smoothie

If I’d only known that eating “Satvic” could be so delicious, I would have done this years ago.

Since I wake up so early, I am enjoying this Superfood Breakfast/ icecream/ smoothie before I go teach my 3 hour October Long weekend Dharma Workshop.


Chia seeds
1/2 cup of rolled oats or rolled quinoa
1/2 cup of almond milk or coconut water
Over ripe bananas- frozen overnight

2 fresh dates
Tablespoon raw cocoa powder (I ‘ve been using a Macca/ cocoa combo)
extra splash of almond milk  or coconut water


Soak chia and oats/ quinoa in the almond milk or coconut water overnight. Next morning, blend the frozen banana in- you may need a splash more liquid to puree… Also add any of the “extras”… This has to be the best breakfast in town! Hubby and kids love it too- and have no idea it’s full of “superfoods”.
